After a suspenseful hiatus, "Pretty Little Liars" finally continues its second season. A month ago, Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer were arrested. Now, tensions between them are running higher than ever. No longer inseparable best friends, they are at each other's throats, and they have cut Emily off completely. Meanwhile, "A" remains unidentified. Has she finally won her cruel game?
In other TV news, The Pregnancy Project, based on the true account of Gaby Rodriguez's faked pregnancy, premieres on Lifetime on January 28th. Gaby grew up being told that she would end up a teen mom, like her own mother and sister. Gaby had different plans for her future, but she was curious about how others would react if she "lived down" to their expectations. Would they lose respect for her? Would they disregard all that she had achieved thus far and see her as just another pregnant teen statistic? For her senior project, she seeked answers to these questions --- by faking her own pregnancy.

Rosewood is a perfect little town. So quiet and pristine, you'd never guess it holds so many secrets. Some of the ugliest ones belong to the prettiest girls in town --- Aria, Spencer, Hanna and Emily, four estranged friends whose darkest secrets are about to unravel.
One year ago, Alison, the Queen Bee of their group, disappeared and the girls swore they'd never tell what really happened that night. They thought their secrets would bond them together, but just the opposite is true. Then again, who's to say what the truth is in Rosewood. It seems everyone in town is lying about something.

In “The Pregnancy Project,” Gaby Rodriguez is a brave 18-year-old high school student who forces her school and community to confront its prejudices and preconceptions about teen pregnancy --- and makes national headlines in the process.
The story begins with Gaby deciding that her senior project will be on stereotyping, which she decides to experience firsthand. Confiding in her mother Juana, her boyfriend Jorge and a handful of others, Gaby begins her social experiment in which she tells her friends, family and teachers that she is pregnant. While her fake baby bump continues to grow over the next six and a half months, Gaby carefully records how she is treated and what is being said about her --- for better and for worse --- both in and out of school. With her project’s findings conclusive, Gaby emotionally addresses her fellow students and their teachers about stereotyping and teen pregnancy during a special school assembly and then shocks them by ripping off her padded “baby bump,” revealing she was never pregnant at all and teaching them a valuable lesson.
