The 2026 International Booker Prize

The shortlist for the 2026 International Booker Prize has been announced. The selection celebrates the best works of long-form fiction or collections of short stories translated into English and published in the UK and/or Ireland between May 1, 2025 and April 30, 2026. The winner will be named during a ceremony at London’s Tate Modern on Tuesday, May 19th.
