Once again, July has been a huge business travel month for me! I love when summer conferences are held in places like Washington, DC and Orlando, where one gets to truly experience heat and humidity (not that New York has been much better this summer). Thankfully, some much-needed downtime is just around the corner, and I'll be able to enjoy the "Dog Days" with plenty of good books and cold iced tea.

According to the weather reports, this summer will hit the books as one of the most sweltering seasons on record. Hope you all have been keeping cool! If you’re looking for the perfect way to beat the scorching heat, we highly recommend escaping to the great indoors, where all you’ll need is a comfy chair or a soft rug, a cool drink, and a stack of refreshing reads to while away the sticky days and muggy nights. Luckily for you, Kidsreads.com is here to keep that “to-be-read” pile high enough to last you all summer long and well into cooler climes.
